01

Move between pages

Use Previous page and Next page to move through the notebook. The displayed page position tells you where you are. Use Add page for a fresh canvas instead of clearing a note you still want to keep. A navigation control can be unavailable when there is no page in that direction.

02

Clear the current page

Clear page removes the current page's content and is disabled when there is nothing to clear. Confirm the intended page before using it. Clearing a page is different from adding a fresh one; these instructions do not imply an unimplemented page-renaming or page-deletion menu.

03

Saving and synchronization

Scratchpad maintains page content and can synchronize account data. Observe the app's synchronization state, especially after reconnecting. A locally visible edit and a confirmed remote synchronization are different states. Keep your own copy of material you cannot afford to lose.

04

Which page Assistant sees

Index Scratchpad uses the active page when your plan permits the feature and the switch is enabled. Open the page containing the relevant information before asking. Switching pages changes the available current-page context; it does not instruct Assistant to search a whole notebook.
