01

Conversational Tone

Conversational Tone changes how Assistant replies to you and is available on Lite and above. Its choices are Formal (concise, direct wording), Casual (lighter capitalization and punctuation), and Informal (relaxed capitalization and punctuation). Choose the offered style and confirm. A specific instruction such as ‘Write a short formal letter’ describes the requested output even if your usual conversation tone is more casual.

02

Index Recent Interactions

Enable Index Recent Interactions when you want eligible recent interaction information available to processing. It is a separate, plan-dependent switch, available on Lite and above. Turning it on is not a promise of unlimited memory or access to all old conversations.

03

Index Scratchpad

When your plan permits it, Index Scratchpad makes the current Scratchpad page available as context. Keep the relevant note on the active page and turn on the switch in Intelligence. Do not assume every page in the notebook is included or that the feature edits your note automatically.

04

Keep the controls separate

Processing Model, Conversational Tone, Index Recent Interactions, and Index Scratchpad are distinct controls. Selecting Enhanced does not mean every indexing switch is enabled. Dictational Tone separately controls written output in messaging, work apps, and email.

05

Check an answer with context

Ask a question grounded in the information you intended to provide, then verify the answer against the source. If the wrong page or text was available, correct that context and ask again. Use explicit wording instead of assuming Assistant knows which document you mean.
